Street Food Festival 2025

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

We are guests on the Hardturmbrache and want to behave as such towards the place, the green spaces and the neighbourhood.

We take the issues of electricity, energy and resources very seriously and have been working with experts on many levels for a long time. This has enabled us to jointly develop numerous visible and just as many invisible but effective measures. We are always happy to pass on our knowledge to our exhibitors and endeavour to keep improving.

SUSTAINABILITY

ELECTRICITY
We endeavour to save electricity and use it where necessary. The Street Food Festival has a long-term contract with the EWZ for the purchase of electricity from Swiss naturemade star-certified hydroelectric power plants.

LIGHT
In order to make a concrete contribution to saving energy, we have switched all of our lighting to LED so that it hardly makes a difference to our electricity requirements. A lighting plan also regulates the use of lighting. We use the latest technology when purchasing new equipment.

DISPOSAL

  •  Reduce, reuse, recycle - the Street Food Festival has a comprehensive waste disposal concept that we work on year after year to improve further.

  • Where possible, our exhibitors' food is served as packs-in-bread or finger food.

  • Waste disposal containers are available throughout the site for our guests and exhibitors.

  • Our caring cleaning team will keep the site clean and ensure that rubbish is separated where possible.

ANREISE

We recommend travelling to Hardturmbrache by public transport. You can find all the information here.

Bicycle parking is also available.

FOR EVERYONE

The Street Food Festival is open to people of all backgrounds, generations and regardless of any mobility restrictions. All areas, with the exception of the tower, are accessible for people with limited mobility.

We want to create a place where everyone feels comfortable. We therefore do not accept any form of discrimination. If you notice anything to the contrary, we would ask you to contact us urgently at info@streetfoodfest.ch. Our email address is used during the event period and for important topics within a very short time.

Klima a la karte

From 1 - 30 June 2025, the City of Zurich , together with Zurich's gastronomy and Food Zurich, will be setting an example for climate protection for the fourth time and inspiring people to eat climate-friendly and reduce food waste.

Numerous restaurants throughout the canton are taking part, including the Street Food Festival. More than 70% of our food stalls are offering vegetarian and/or vegan options this summer on the Hardturmbrache. We are also helping to avoid plastic waste with biodegradable cutlery and ‘pack-a-bread solutions’.

We are very happy to make our contribution. We are delighted to introduce you to our foodies who are taking part in Klima à la Carte below. You can recognise them at the Street Food Festival by their pretty stickers. Stop by, try their dishes and be inspired for your sustainable cuisine at home.
