This year's Street Food Festival once again focuses on young visitors and their families. A dedicated kids' area with shade, a syrup bar, workshops, and a program are available. Numerous changing food vendors offer child-friendly cuisine.
For the first time this year, the Family Weekend will take place from 21.- 22. June :

You can also look forward to drawing a big hidden object picture, trying diabolo, hula hoop, juggling, yo-yo or skill games with Christian Ziegler (from 14 h.), watching Köbi - the street artist or transforming yourself into colorful fantasy figures with children's face painting with LunaSol (from 15 h.).

During the Family Weekend at the Street Food Festival, you can browse for children's clothes, toys, books and much more at the Kids Flea Market on Saturday, 21. June.

KIDS DISCO
Dancing, jumping, singing... On Family Weekend on 22. June, all little dancing mice from the age of 2 upwards can have lots of fun and dance wildly with you at our colorful and cheerful kids' disco (from 15 h to 18 h), which we are organizing together with SUNDANCE KIDS DISCO .

KIDS CREATIVE:
Making sculptures with recycled materials
Together with Janek, kids ages 6 and up can let their creativity run wild on the weekend of 14./15. June , creating crazy sculptures and small works of art from recycled materials from the Street Food Festival. Under the motto "Kids Creative – Make New from Old," there's plenty of crafting and gluing to do.

CHILDREN'S MAKEUP WITH LUNASOL
A highlight every year and this year your kids can once again look forward to Angela from LunaSol, who conjures up imaginative motifs on beaming children's faces.
28./29. June

AGE: approx. 5 - 10 years
Coolinarik Kiddies | Local & Delicious – Blind Tasting with Organic Vegetables
Process:

Workshops start every 90 minutes (12:30, 14:00, 15:30, 17:00)

Workshop duration: 60 minutes

Group size: 6–10 children/workshop
First, it's chopping: The children learn simple cutting techniques with children's knives from Kuhn Rikon. Then, the mystery box awaits—filled with seasonal vegetables and fruits from Mercato to touch, smell, and taste.
The children discover through play what grows locally and what comes from far away – and why sustainable, fresh organic vegetables that were still in the ground 24 hours ago are not only better for the environment, but also much tastier.
At the end, each child can mix their own little smoothie on the smoothie bike – based on the ingredients they liked best during the blind tasting.
A workshop full of taste, curiosity, and little aha moments – to participate, learn, and be amazed.
HERE you can register your KIDs – or just drop by spontaneously and join in if there’s still space!
The workshop is offered by COOLINARIK , a young association that promotes local, sustainable nutrition and a vibrant community – with interactive cooking events throughout Switzerland.

Pedal together against food waste!
COOLINARIK is bringing two stylish smoothie bikes to the festival: Pedal and mix your own smoothie – made from rescued fruit from the start-up Pure-Up and freshly harvested organic fruit from Mercato .
Using muscle power instead of electricity, we create a drink that's not only healthy but also tastes great – for Fruit Ninjas of all ages. All diets welcome.
Come by spontaneously – and mix yourselves happily!
